So many people have large family rooms in their basement. What’s a great family room without the perfect TV? A family room is a place where people gather to watch movies, sports, and late night shows, as well as play video games. They don’t want to huddle around a 13″ box TV from the 1990s, trying to see all the details of their show. A basement family room should have a large updated TV. You can now purchase large 40-50″ flatscreens for a reasonable price. These can also be hung high on a wall so kids running by or people sitting in front don’t get in others’ viewing paths. Another great option is setting up a projector to play on a large white wall. You can then make the screen as large as you want by moving the projector closer to or farther from the wall.

Just a few years ago, my parents purchased a large flatscreen for the basement family room. We were so excited to see the extreme detail in movies we watched. Playing multiple player video games was so much better, as we all had large viewing fields. An updated TV is definitely great for the basement.
