Master bedrooms come in all shapes and sizes. For most today, many prefer to have some sort of TV in their bedroom to either watch during a nice afternoon, or even before they hit the bed for the night. In fact, there are many that can’t fall asleep without some sort of TV show on. For those that are considering a TV for their master bedroom, here are a few tips that one may want to follow to ensure that the perfect purchase is made:

Measure Up: The first thing that you’re going to want to do is measure up the space from your bed to the TV stand. If there’s an adequate amount of space, you’ll more than likely want to upgrade to a larger TV. For example, if your point of view is about six to eight feet away, you’ll want to purchase a TV that is in the 40″ range. Anything that is closer than that, you may want to downgrade to something a tad bit smaller.

Nothing Fancy: Most experts will tell you that a bedroom is for “casual” TV viewing. There’s no reason to go out and spend over a thousand dollars on a TV that’s only going to be used by yourself at night. Think about it for a second. You’re not going to throw a football party in your bedroom, are you?
